3D Era 2005 Liberty City

Grand Theft Auto LCS

Liberty City, 1998. Toni Cipriani comes home to a family that owes him nothing. Liberty City Stories is Rockstar Leeds' 2005 PSP game, the first Grand Theft Auto built for a handheld that plays like the console ones. It runs three years before GTA III in the same Liberty City, before the Callahan Bridge came down. Toni Cipriani returns from hiding after killing a made man and finds Salvatore Leone happy to use him and his mother unwilling to acknowledge him. It came to PlayStation 2 in June 2006 and to phones in 2015 and 2016.

Some cheats cannot be switched off

Most codes toggle off if you enter them again. Pedestrians riot and pedestrians attack do not. Once either is on, the only way back is loading an earlier save.

PSP and PS2 use the same codes

The sequences are identical across both versions. Where the PS2 wants L1 and R1, the PSP wants L and R, and no code uses L2 or R2 at all.
